Our Domestique bib shorts are the perfect bib for every ride; they're a real workhorse and will be your best companion for up to 8 hours in the saddle. We handpicked a highly compressive main body fabric, manufactured by the Italian MITI. The knit provides unrivaled strength, support and has a kickback-feel; hugging your body rather than squeezing it. Thanks to the use of fully dyed fabrics the shorts have an ultra-luxurious look and feel. We selected a stretch mesh fabric for the straps, finding a balance between an aero race position and upright posture (coffee break); perfect for those long days in the saddle. The silicone gripper band has a soft feel to the leg but don't let it fool you: it will keep your bibs in place no matter what kind of ride you're in for.
The chamois (padding):
The custom chamois has been engineered in 2 parts: the upper part to fit perfectly to your body contour, and the lower high-tech part that perfectly matches the contour of a saddle. The perforated backing cover of the padding increases the flexibility and breathability of the chamois. The upper part features the dimple technology, which reduces the skin contact area with the chamois. We have selected a foam with high "resilience to compression," which means it has the highest capacity to spring back into shape. This improves comfort while riding, support of your undercarriage, and durability ride after ride. The elastic mesh cup allows the regular blood flow in the sensitive areas during the effort, thanks to a perforated and comfortable housing conceived to hold the men’s privates in an elastic zone, keeping them dry.
